WHY WE LOVE “GOTG”?
Calling out all the marvel fanatics because we are about to discuss one of the most beloved comic films, “ The Guardians of the Galaxy.” By the name of the movie, you might think it is something like Star Wars. But believe me, it is nothing like star wars. The plot that the film is following is related to the infamous Avengers. One thing that is exceptional about this movie is not only the humor but the fashion too! We are not talking about Guardians of the Galaxy Leather Jacket. We will get onto it later. We are talking about comedy. All the funny skits and witty sarcasm made the audiences roll on the floor.
The way Marvel productions have incorporated all the emotions in a single movie is remarkable. As much as we are giving credit to Marvel, we are not doing justice with the characters. Groot, Rocket Racoon, Drax, Gamora, Yondu, and then obviously Star-Lord and Thanos. Each character has their own part of adding a charm to the movie. You won’t find a single dull moment with these characters.

- The soundtrack of this movie was the first-ever soundtrack that made to number 1 on the US billboard. The “awesome mix volume-1” does not have any original song. That’s what makes it interesting.
- Vin Diesel, who voiced Groot, was recorded in English and in several other languages. “I am Groot” was recorded more than thousands of times.
- Many scenes, including the one where Peter dropped the orb, were unscripted, but because they were funny, the director added them into the movie.
- The Walkman star-lord used to carry was Sony TPS-L2 from 1979. It was known as “sound about.”
- Chris Pratt almost lost 60 pounds in just 6 months for his shirtless scenes.

STAR-LORD:
Star-lord indeed is the most talked about and popular character of the movie. Whether it is his superpowers we are talking about, his personality traits, or his costume. We loved every bit of him except for his retro look at the start. Yikes! Didn’t like his entry at all. But the Star-Lord Jacket has caught many eyes. A bright red enhanced the overall look of the character and made him a little loud. Let me break down the entire costume of the Star-lord.
Firstly his expanding partial helmet, filled with incredible abilities. Then came a red leather jacket with a red leather coat. Ugh! Such an ethereal being, Chris looked in it. Then he has camel colored pants on which he wears jet boots. Well, those boots really give the character a boost, especially during the War.
The Walkman handset was a turn-off, but you know, we can ignore the flaws for all the other superpowers. We can not ignore his guns that really showed-off his character’s guts. Gravity mine was a show-stealer too. Apart from the gadgets, his other superpowers are how fast and strong he is.
The “Guardians of the Galaxy” is a marvel gem for not one but for many reasons. If you are also a comic enthusiast and tired of reading them, then start watching movies. It is a suggestion. Please watch it in the proper order, beginning with Iron man. You will enjoy it even more, and things will make sense. You might not witness the same stories as comics, but undoubtedly better storylines. The turn of Guardians of the Galaxy will come a little late, but all the wait will be worth it.
